Since I’m getting so much out of these articles, I thought it probably time to at least say hello, and thank you, and whenever I read an article that I love there’s a better-than-even chance that when I’m done, it’s your name I’ll find at the bottom.

I’m a writer, a working, gets-paid-to-do-it writer, and I cannot possibly echo more nor amplify louder your simple message: put your butt in a chair and write. Until I did that, I wasn’t a writer, I was a waiter (with apologies to Dan Poynter). Now I just write. Some of it’s pretty good. Some of it…isn’t. The proportions change, though, after you’ve put a couple million words out there.

I’m very happy to read you so often. You’re making a difference, at least to me.
